Well, you may remember that I had to sign off a couple of days ago to write my Wife's birthday card. Well the good news is that I managed to get that done in time and am therefore not singing like Aled Jones. The bad news is that she managed to chop the end of her finger off along with the stalks from the flowers that her brother bought her as a well meaning present. This as you will see leaves me with something of a dilemma.

I was up half the night again, but this time it was not to attend to this spanking new website. No, instead, I was present at the birth of our third child; a girl thus far named Henry as I was previously convinced that she was a boy. In fact she is definitely a boy - without a winkle. I have however been reliably informed by the medical staff present, that a boy without a winkle is a girl.baby1

To the business of a name then, the wife is adamant that Henry is a boy's name. UPDATE -- We have now decided to call her Jessica which we both agree is more appropriate than Henry.

So now, I find myself overrun - I was previously out numbered as we have one boy and one girl already and as far as I can tell, 2 females out numbers 2 males in any situation.

For all those who are interested in that kind of thing, she finally arrived at 10:17 last night, 12 days overdue and weighing in at a staggering 6lb12oz.

Back to my dilemma though - I am about to go back to the hospital to visit the latest girl in my life and her mum and have to decide whether bringing flowers is a good idea - will it make her happy or just remind her of her previous trauma?

Please go and buy lots and lots of PlainSounds recordings, come and use the studio and tell all your friends. Please. Somehow I need to pay for 2 weddings now.
